(MURFREESBORO) This year's Annual Taste of Rutherford is a "Summer Picnic" and it is set for Saturday night, July 18, 2020, at Cannonsburgh Village, 312 South Front Street. Tickets are on sale now at Main Street.
Main Street's Executive Director Sarah Callender said, "Due to these unprecedented times, Main Street Murfreesboro is partnering with the City of Murfreesboro and wish to show support to the downtown restaurants that make the Annual Taste of Rutherford summer fundraiser so special."
She explained that all of the food is pre-packaged this year, nothing is left in the open. Patrons will each receive a picnic box, and walk around the village greeting friends and visiting the historic buildings in which local eateries will offer their scrumptuous food.
Callender suggested to make it a real family night-out by bringing your lawn chair or a blanket on which to have a picnic.

- This is a great option to support Main Street if you aren't able to attend the full event. You receive a yummy savory and sweet to-go box, filled with tasty things to enjoy from all participating restaurants. Curbside pickup is available at the event site from 7:00 to 8:00PM.
Once again, the Annual Taste of Rutherford is July 18, 2020, at Cannonsburgh Village, 312 South Front Street. This annual fundraiser helps Main Street raise needed funds to continue their mission of promoting the downtown as the heart of the community.
