A disagreement between two men this past weekend led to one of the two men opening fire on the other. The situation unfolded at 1 in the morning on South University Street where the victim told police that the suspect fired six shots at him with a handgun after an argument. One bullet entered a nearby house and missed a child sleeping in a bed by only inches. Detectives were called to the scene where they photographed the bullet hole in the bedroom. A 20-year old man has been named as a suspect in the case that is still being investigated by Murfreesboro Police.
