192-Kroger shopping carts were reported stolen this month in Murfreesboro. The thefts occurred at the Kroger store on Middle Tennessee Boulevard. The carts are valued at nearly $17,000 dollars. The manager at the grocery store believes the carts are being sold as scrap metal. The manager also reported to police that 120 black handbaskets worth $420 were taken in recent days. So far the culprit (or culprits) have not been caught.
