The former Secretary of Education will speak in Murfreesboro during a Rutherford County and Nashville Area Chambers of Commerce Education Reform Luncheon. Margaret Spellings will address the Business Community’s Role in Education Reform. Spellings was the Secretary of Education from 2005 to 2009 under the administration of U.S. President George W. Bush and previously served as White House Domestic Policy Adviser to President Bush. The event is on Thursday at 11:30 in the morning. The conference will be at the Embassy Suites Hotel & Conference Center.
