Pest experts predict 2012 to be one of the busiest years for bugs as Middle Tennessee has seen unseasonably warm weather so far this March. While the warmer climate has been enjoyable, it also means bugs are making their appearance a lot earlier than normal. Experts say the recent stretch of warm temperatures, humidity and heavy rainfall are to blame for bugs earlier this year. Spiders, ants, fleas, ticks, termites, wasps, bees, mosquitoes, gnats and flies are already out, all at least a month ahead of schedule. Termites are also expected to be a big problem this year.
