Space is still available for the April RAD Women self defense class (Rape Aggression Defense). The Murfreesboro Police Department will host the class at the MPD training facility at 324 South Church Street each Thursday in April. The four (4) class sessions are held from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. beginning April 5th, 2012.
The RAD program teaches women realistic self-defense tactics and techniques to give women the tools necessary to stop an attack. Topics include: risk awareness, risk reduction, risk avoidance, and self-defense techniques.
Participants under 18 must have a parental consent form completed and on file before participating.
