Regions Bank will manage a $6.25 million dollar fund for the Rutherford County Industrial Development Board. The board chose Regions after receiving several competitive bids asking the board for their business. The money is from Nissan in Smyrna and is part of a property tax abatement plan and the creation of jobs at the automotive factory that date back to the 1980’s.
