Three Women Accused of Stealing Over $1700 in Clothing

$1,775 worth of stolen clothing was recovered by police during a traffic stop on Old Fort Parkway. Murfreesboro Police pulled the car over after an employee of a store in the Stones River Mall called the authorities to report three women shoplifting together.  The women, who were busted by the 5-0, allegedly had a special tool in their possession to disable anti-theft devices from the clothes they were accused of stealing. 21-year old Tysheka Davis, 30-year old Amber Johnson and 27-year old Jekia Peters, all of Nashville, were charged with three counts of theft under $500 and one count of theft over $1,000. The trio will appear in a Rutherford County Courtroom on May 2nd
