The Murfreesboro Police Department has made an arrest in the recent spray painting of gang graffiti. Detective Sam Day of the police department’s Gang Unit obtained juvenile petitions on a 15 year old male for the recently reported vandalism in the area of Benley Street. The juvenile is the same person responsible for the Hobgood vandalism that occurred last summer. Investigators have also confirmed that he is a member of MS-13. The juvenile is currently detained in Rutherford County Juvenile Detention on other related and unrelated petitions.
