Man Accused of Robbery Stopped on SR 840

The man accused of robbing a victim in the Kroger parking lot on Old Fort Parkway this past Friday night has been identified. Police say 25-year old Casey Thomas Lucas was pulled over on State Route 840 after the crime was reportedly committed. After being stopped by officers, police say they found the rifle he allegedly used to rob the victim at the Kroger store. Officers say they also found two small bags of cocaine in his possession. Lucas, who lives in Nolensville, was charged with attempted aggravated robbery, possession of a schedule 2 drug, possession of a weapon while in the commission of a felony and violation of probation. Lucas was placed under a $22,000 bond and will appear in court on May 2nd.
