A dog bite sent one woman to the doctor on Tuesday. A 27-year old woman running on the Stones River Greenway told officers that she was bit in the arm as she passed a man walking his dog. The dog was a chow-mix and it bit her near the bicep. Evidently she was shielding herself by holding her arm up when she was bit. The bite broke the skin. Luckily, the dog was up to date on his rabies shots. The Pet Adoption and Welfare Services Department was notified.
