A Rutherford County teacher from Riverdale High School has been suspended without pay. Matt Curry, who teaches drama and serves as a tennis coach, was suspended because of an ongoing criminal investigation by the Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office. The Sheriff’s Department is not releasing any details on the investigation or what it may concern. Curry was previously suspended in March for an inappropriate comment to students in class.
