StoneCrest Medical Center and Rutherford County EMS will recognize National Emergency Medical Services Week on Saturday, May 19 from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. with a community event that includes free food, kid’s activities, health screenings, and emergency medical vehicles. The Tennessee Army National Guard will land a Blackhawk helicopter during the event.
National Emergency Medical Services Week brings together local communities and medical personnel to publicize safety and honor the dedication of those who provide the day-to-day lifesaving services of medicine's "front line."
“Saving lives requires a strong partnership between hospital staff and emergency medical personnel who are serving on the front line,” said Mark Sims, CEO at StoneCrest Medical Center. “We’re proud to host this event so the community may join us in thanking our emergency responders for their dedication,” said Sims.
