A teacher accused of restraining and tickling a male student on a school bus headed to a soccer game has been fired. Richard Kimberly, who teaches criminal justice at Blackman High School and serves as the soccer coach, was dismissed by the Rutherford County Board of Education on Wednesday night. The board voted unanimously to fire the teacher who was accused of inappropriate conduct with a student. The educator was also accused of giving the student he was tickling a wedgie. Reports indicate Kimberly may have also been communicating with male students by way of Twitter. The Rutherford County Sheriff’s Department is investigating, but no charges have been filed.
