Man Commits Suicide at Campus Villa Apartments

A standoff between Murfreesboro Police and a man near the campus of MTSU ends in suicide. Authorities received information that the man, wanted on charges in Smyrna, was inside a Campus Villa Apartment. They also believed he may be suicidal and possibly overdosed on drugs. Around 12:30 Wednesday, Murfreesboro Police entered the home with flash grenades and the man shot himself.
