Crack Down on "Sound Ordinance"

Murfreesboro Police continue their crack-down on persons who violate the city's "sound ordinance". Traffic stops often lead to additional charges. Such was the case around 5:00 o'clock Tuesday afternoon (5/29/2012) when Officer Phillips personally heard loud music coming from a white Buick at the intersection of Minor and Hancock Streets.

Not only did the driver's license check reveal that Devon Williams (Swader) had two counts of driving on a revoked license, but there were two local Violation of Parole warrants for his arrest. The 19-year old Smyrna resident was held at the Rutherford County Adult Detention Center with his bond set at $3,500.
