Around 11:00 o'clock Thursday night (5-31-2012) Murfreesboro Police responded to a call of shots fired at moving vehicle at 1325 Wenlon Drive. Michael Osborne said that he and his girlfriend, along with her four-year old son, were driving home when they noticed a black vehicle following them.

As they pulled into their apartment complex, the vehicle attempted to block them and two males armed with handguns approached them demanding money.

Osborne was able to swerve around the men and speed away, but the two reportedly fired shots at them. Murfreesboro Police Officer Alden confirms there was a bullet hole in the rear of the 1994 Ford Explorer, another in the front driver's side fender, plus that tire was also shot-out.

The victim told police that around fifteen rounds were fired at him. No arrests have been made, but Murfreesboro Police Detectives Garrison and Gorham are conducting the investigation.
