Friday Fire At Mid States Services In La Vergne

A distribution center in La Vergne suffered water damage around 9:30 Friday morning (6/1/2012).  When several pallets of tissue paper caught fire, Mid States Services evacuated 24 employees from its facility at 601 Mason Road.,  No injuries were reported. 

The functioning sprinkler system controlled the fire until firefighters arrived at the scene.  The La Vergne Fire Department was dispatched at 9:33 Friday morning, and within 4-minutes a ladder truck and three engines were on the scene.  

The cause of the fire is undetermined.
