After a dispute with the state Department of Revenue, the City Café on East Main Street has new owners. The new owners are the parents of the former owner, Scott Perkins. The café is now run by Rusty and Cindy Perkins. You may recall, the restaurant was shut down by the state for a short time period, but has since reopened.
The City Café has been a popular dining destination for over 100-years. Although not in its original location, it has always been on the Murfreesboro square.
