Daymar Institute in Murfreesboro is hosting a military service celebration and benefits fair to honor all current military and veterans. Local military veterans can obtain valuable information about the benefits available to them at the event on Saturday, June 30, 2012 from 1 p.m. – 4 p.m. at the Daymar Institute campus at 415 Golden Bear Court. This event is free and open to the public.
Scheduled activities include:
- Military vehicles courtesy of the National Guard and on hand for guests and their children to explore
- Murfreesboro Fire Trucks
- Vet Center 38’ Mobile VA Bus
- Guest speakers
- Kids Zone and family fun including bowling and other games
- Refreshments and Door Prizes
Organizations participating in the event include: The Vet Center, National Alliance on Mental Illness, Veterans Restoration Ministries, Tennessee Highway Patrol, Veterans Supporting Veterans, Organization, Women Veterans, National Guard, Murfreesboro Fire Department, Rolling Thunder VFW 422, VA Hospital of Murfreesboro, Tennessee Department of Veterans Affairs, Tennessee Rehabilitation Center of Smyrna, and Tennessee Department of Human Services,
