Four Juveniles Charged with Auto Theft

Four juveniles were charged with auto theft after they were stopped while driving a stolen car Monday on Old Woodbury Highway , a sheriff’s deputy reported.

A Woodbury Police officer followed the suspects from Cannon County into Rutherford County where he and Deputy Nick Coble stopped the stolen Hyundai Electra near Twin Oak Drive .

A 17-year-old driver, a 17-year-old girl, a 17-year-old boy and a 15-year-old boy were charged with theft over $1,000. They were taken to the Rutherford County Juvenile Detention Center where a hearing was set Wednesday in Juvenile Court. The driver was also charged with driving on a suspended license.

The car was owned by Lorraine Lucken.
