An air conditioner was vandalized and a motor for the A/C fan stolen. The fan motor was valued at $1,500. The air conditioner was at a newly built home on Foxworth Court. The home is vacant at this time. Police do not have any leads in the case at this point. A second A/C was stolen from a business on West College Street on Tuesday. In that case, the air conditioner was valued at $2,500.
This is not the first time that thieves have stolen air conditioners or A/C parts in Murfreesboro. In June, an entire air conditioning unit was stolen from a business on South Rutherford Boulevard. No arrest was made in that case. A church in Murfreesboro reported that their air conditioner was stolen in April.
