La Vergne is partnering with Snelling Professional Services to help fill about 60 positions at a new mail processing facility coming to the city. On July 25 and August 1 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., applicants will be interviewed at the Multipurpose Building behind City Hall, located at 5093 Murfreesboro Rd.
The jobs will include sorting and transferring of printed materials and small packages. Job requirements include being 18 years old, having a high school diploma or GED, and passing a background check and drug screen. The company is looking for people who are accurate and pay attention to detail.
