Buying a vehicle from an individual can be a risky financial endeavor. One Murfreesboro woman learned a hard lesson this past weekend after buying a truck from a Murfreesboro resident for $6,500. After she paid a down payment of $2,000 to the individual, a repo company paid a visit to her home and took possession of the Dodge Ram. Now the woman is out $2,000 and a truck. On Friday, Murfreesboro Police advised the 25-year old victim how to obtain a criminal warrant against the suspect. So far, an arrest has not been made.
