Multiple persons called 9-1-1 on Wednesday evening after a 21-year old man reportedly shot himself in the head. The incident occurred in the lawn of a home on Ragland Avenue. Multiple police units responded to the call and say that the victim was transported to Middle Tennessee Medical Center and later flown by Life Flight helicopter to Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville. His condition has not been released.
