With temps in the mid 70s on Saturday (11/3/2012), the Murfreesboro Civic Plaza was filled live music, beautifully hand-painted bowls and delicious home-made soups, chili and stew. This annual fund raiser for Habitat for Humanity drew a steady crowd representing all ages.

WGNS broadcast "live" from Cook'n To Build. During Jason Quall's (at right) financial show, Habitat's Executive Director Beth Smith (center) was presented a financial donation from the financial group by Grant Lichtenwalter (left)

The unique bowls were hand painted at The Pottery Place by community residents of all ages. In addition to the great food, booths representing local organizations and Habitat supporters will cook their favorite dishes. Hmmmm, both desserts and drinks are also included.

Dean Higbee (left) and Dave Gober (right), of the popular Rutherford Home Show also took to the Murfreesboro Civic Plaza and the hosts took the wireless microphone around and interacted with listeners.
