The pilot of a single engine plane that had a crash at the Murfreesboro Airport was injured. The plane evidently hit a hanger and then ran off the runway and into a ditch. The pilot became trapped in the cabin of the plane and had to be extricated out. The pilot was taken to Vanderbilt Medical Center VIA LifeFlight Helicopter. The crash occurred around 8, Thursday morning. The plane was a Cesna 172 and is registered to a company in Connecticut.
