The former director of the Rutherford County Emergency Management Agency has lost his 2-year battle with cancer. Roger Allen died on Wednesday at his home. Allen was the director for 12-years. Prior to acting as director, Allen was the assistant director. He has worked for the county agency for a total of 20-years.
