Only $80K short of needed $2.25-million

The local Tennessee Fisher House is almost fully funded. This facility will be similar to the Ronald McDonald House, but will provide free lodging for military families who are here with their hero who is receiving medical treatment. It's being constructed on Compton Road at the beautiful campus of the Alvin C. York V.A. Medical Center here in Murfreesboro.

Hooper Penuel told WGNS News . . .

This Fisher House™ will have 12 bedroom/bath suites offering free lodging in “a home away from home” atmosphere for families of patients receiving medical care at the Alvin C. York VA Medical Center and/or the Nashville VA Hospital. He noted that free shuttle service will also be available. The facility is expected to open this fall.
