Armed robbery in midst of investigation at corner of Cason Lane and New Salem Hwy.

An investigation into the robbery of the Tigermart / On the Run gas station on the corner of the New Salem Highway and Cason lane continues in Murfreesboro. The clerk at the store says a male wearing all white clothing entered the store during the AM hours on Sunday morning and robbed the store at gunpoint. The subject ordered the store employee behind the counter and demanded he empty the cash register. The clerk said that during the hold-up, the subject was pointing the weapon at him.

After the unknown man got his hands on the cash, he fled the scene on foot. Detectives are investigating this case now. The description of the offense was labeled an armed robbery, aggravated assault, and theft.
