6:30pm Saturday at Siegel Elementary
As a part of "Music In Our School's" month, the Murfreesboro City Schools Festival Choir will perform a free concert this coming Saturday evening at 6:30. The performance will be held at Erma Siegel Elementary.
This Saturday's event features 200 students from Bradley and Cason Lane Academy, Erma Siegel, Hobgood, John Pittard, Northfield and Scales Elementary. A variety of songs from classical to contemporary will fill the evening with musical favorites.
Guest Conductors
Music teachers from each school along with Director of Schools Dr. Linda Gilbert will serve as conductors of the performances.
Parents and guests are encouraged to arrive by 6:00 p.m. to ensure ample time for seating. "Music in our Schools Month" is recognized and sponsored by the National Association for Music Education.
