Give your student a chance to learn skills they can use for a lifetime by having them apply for the 12th annual State Farm Summer Business Camp.

Who are eligible?

The program is open to students who will complete the sixth through the eighth grade by May, 2013. The camp runs from July 9th through July 18th. Applications are now available on the Business Education Partnership Foundation website www.rutherfordbep.org/programs/summer-business-camp/.

What is Biz Camp?

During Biz Camp participants will have the opportunity to acquire business, financial literacy and leadership skills through hands-on activities. Participants learn about the different parts of business from people in the community who practice every day what they are teaching. The goal of this entrepreneurial academy is for the students to work in teams to create a start-up business plan which they present in a competition on the final day.
