A local church is paying for people to fill their tanks in Murfreesboro. “The Church” will be at the Kangaroo gas station on South Church Street next to Pinnacle Bank (2610 S. Church St.) this Saturday morning between 11:30 and 1:30. The Church is not stopping at the free gas though; they are also making sure you leave with a clean car. The Church has teamed up with Kangaroo and the nearby Monster Car Wash to help local residents that may be having a hard time making ends meet.
The church aims to help a little under 70 people on Saturday. According to their website, “This gas giveaway is to help single parents and economically disadvantaged families in Murfreesboro.”
The Church will hold their Easter Service on Sunday at 10:30. “The Church” is located at 311 Butler Dr. – Murfreesboro.
