Somebody was thirsty…
A total of 7 cases of beer were stolen from the Kroger store on Old fort Parkway at Cason Lane. The culprit walked into the store, grabbed a shopping cart and made his way to the beer isle. The subject quietly loaded 7 cases of Budweiser into his cart and pushed his way out the front doors and into the parking lot.
The theft was caught on video, but the subjects’ identity could not be determined. That being said, it looks like the thief will be able to enjoy his 168 cans of beer without fear of being arrested. That is of course as long as he does not get the craving for Budweiser again and pays a visit to the same store. The staff at the store has likely familiarized themselves with the portrait of the suspect.
