Out of state customer upset with local Corvette shop

We have another internet related case of possible vengeance to bring your way in Murfreesboro. This time the story involves a local custom car dealer that sells vintage, high quality Corvettes.

A police report filed on Tuesday shows that Vintage Vettes in Murfreesboro is allegedly being harassed by a former customer according to a police report. The customer in this case says that he bought a Corvette from the two brothers who operate the store and the car had a bad engine in it. The man took his complaints to the internet where he wrote about his experience online. The brothers say they offered to give the customer a refund, but he refused. The report shows the owners of Vintage Vettes are now tired of what they called harassment. The report shows this has allegedly been going on for a year and it has already been dismissed in court not once, but twice. Again, that information is directly from a police report filed in Murfreesboro.

The person who says he was wronged by Vintage Vettes lives in Georgia and started his own WordPress.com blog site. The out of state man also threw complaints on at least one Corvette discussion board.

On a side note, the brothers have sold over 400 items on Ebay and their Ebay ratings show they only have 1 negative feedback.

WGNS took our curiosity to the Better Business Bureau. While Vintage Vettes is not a member of the BBB, the site shows that the company has not had any complaints against them in the past. The BBB has 5-catagories of complaints that include advertising, billing, service, delivery and warranty issues. Every category is blank.

It looks as if one customer was not happy with the local Corvette service center, his complaint was seemingly a fluke. All seems to be of the utmost quality and on the up and up.
