Murfreesboro motorists driving into town along Northwest Broad Street saw traffic funneled down to one lane while crews cleaned-up hydraulic fluid this (Thursday) morning. ALL LANES HAVE NOW BEEN REOPENED. The problem area was almost a block long and started just before Demos' Restaurant and continued past Maxi Muffler.
A spokesperson at the Murfreesboro Police Department told WGNS News that they originally went to that location on a motorist assist call. However, once on-the-scene, the officer saw there was a large amount of hydraulic fluid spilling and running over the roadway.
Much of Thursday morning's drive-time traffic along this stretch of Northwest Broad Street were impacted by the clean-up.
