There is a lot of Rutherford County flavor in the first AP statewide poll of high school football teams. Oakland is ranked second, just behind Maryville. They're 11 points behind the Rebels, despite receiving more first place votes. Blackman is in the poll at number six and Siegel is ranked 9th.
