Murfreesboro Police Sgt. Kyle Evans told WGNS... "At 11:27pm last night MPD responded to Kirkwood Dr. to investigate a vehicle crash.  A vehicle was traveling on Kirkwood when it struck a parked vehicle.  The parked vehicle caught on fire. The occupied vehicle then struck a utility pole and a tree.  The driver and passenger were transported to Vanderbilt Hospital with serious injuries.  The Fatal Accident Crash Team is investigating the crash."
