During this broadcast, Murfreesboro City Manager Rob Lyons talks about:

1. The Murfreesboro 2035 Task Force will meet Wednesday, April 1, 2015, at 5:00PM at the Patterson Community Center for review chapter 5 of "Murfreesboro 2035". This chapter deals with housing. The public is welcome, but public input is not a part of this particular meeting.

2.Murfreesboro continues to grow and is about to hire a second assistant city manager. Mr. Lyons noted there were 150 applicants and the list has been narrowed to the finalists, all superior candidates.

3. Murfreesboro Fire and Rescue Department Chief Cumbey Gaines announced that he plans to retire August 12, 2015.

4. Rover Bus carried 250,000 riders around Murfreesboro in 2014.
