The O'Donnels had the crowd clapping and dancing on the historic Murfreesboro square with the season final of Friday Night Live (9/2/2011). Despite temps around the century mark, the gentle summer breeze, great music, delicious food and friends--made the evening perfect.
Friday Night Live is co-hosted by the Main Street Renovation Program and the Only Downtown Business Alliance. Main Street Executive Director Kathleen Herzog notes that the event creates a fun-family atmosphere in which to see old friends and meet new ones while enjoying the benefits of the historic district.

As in previous months, lawn chairs ringed the Rutherford County Courthouse in the center of the square, while shoppers strolled the variety of family merchants.
Activities continue around the town square with the Saturday Morning Marketplace, featuring farm fresh produce, baked goods and hand-created favorites. Next month kicks off an endless list of events as Murfreesboro begins its Bicentennial Celebration.
