Murfreesboro Police are investigating the shooting of two women around 11:00 o'clock Friday night (1014/2011) outside the Hanover Apartments at 1128 Old Lascassas Road. Reports indicate the females were inside a car with a 6-year old child in the backseat. 

The child was not injured, but the women were taken by LifeFlight helicopter to the Trauma Center at Vanderbilt. 

Witnesses told police that the man fled the scene on foot, and was possibly seen leaving the complex in a light colored Ford Crown Victoria or Mercury Marquis.
