Meet Murfreesboro Electric Department's new General Manager P. D. Mynatt. He is not new to MED, in fact--he has been on board for 27-years. He shares how MED has established a reliability rate of 99.994 per cent (based on an industry formula). He also talks about the need to expand their facility and they are looking for 25 to 30 acres on which to build a new office and service center. He described the need as "strong, and is imminent." He also talked about some fiscal changes in the operations of the local utility.
