Around 9:00 o'clock Friday morning (10/28/2011), the Tennessee Highway Patrol arrested 29 persons who had been camping on Legislative Plaza. Four were Rutherford County residents. 30-year old Connie Smith and 22-year old Mark Vanzant, both from Murfreesboro, were charged with criminal trespassing. Two others are from Smyrna: 44-year old Eric Smith and 27-year old Adam K. Knight were all placed in a holding cell for 6-hours. 

According to reports from Troopers, none of the protestors fought the officers, but they refused to leave the area. Protesters were given 10-minutes to leave, along with a 5-minute warning--before arrests were made.

The forced movement of demonstrators came just one-day after officials announced that the area would be closed from 10:00 at night until 6:00 each morning. By the way, the OCCUPY NASHVILLE assembly plan to hold a public assembly on the Legislative Plaza tonigh at 7:00 o'clock (Friday, 10/28/2011).
