Focus on MTSU as Dr. Sidney McPhee begins his 17th year as president of the university this month. In addition, today (8/21/2017) MTSU has linked with NASA as an official ECLIPSE VIEWING SITE (green area near the Walker Library). In addition to watching the eclipse, MTSU's Science Department will be explaining what you are seeing and there will be giant screens displaying the eclipse. Dr. McPhee also tells about the university's impact on the economy, changes in control of the unversity with its own Board of Trustees, and links MTSU has with China, Africa, Carribean and Europe.
