Blackman High School Star Athletes Join a New Team…6 year old Brett Patterson’s Hemophilia Walk Team! Sunday, November 6th Nashville, TN; Gaylord Springs Golf Links…Blackman High School star players will be walking in Tennessee’s First Annual Hemophilia Walk in support of The Patterson Patrol Team led by their 6-year old fan, Brett Patterson.

I’Tavius Mathers #4, Riley Osborne #44 and Caleb Anderson #13 are rallying behind the young Patterson, as he raises funds in order to support ongoing research and awareness of Hemophilia and Bleeding Disorders. Brett was diagnosed at an early age with severe Hemophilia A, so while football is not an option for him as a participant, he attends all of the Blackman home games and cheers for his favorite team players. Now they are rallying behind Brett to return the support and show him that he’s a star as well!

Money raised assists those affected by Hemophilia and Bleeding Disorders statewide! NO persons with Hemophilia can ever play football but the sport draws a huge fan base from people with this chronic disorder. Hemophilia is a blood disorder that prevents external and internal clotting without the assistance of medications. The outcome of an ongoing bleed is joint and tissue damage. It is transmitted either through genetic inheritance or as a spontaneous genetic mutation.

Join the team on Sunday, November 6th to interview the Walk Team/Blackman players in person! Gaylord Springs Golf Links, 18 Springhouse Lane, Nashville. Registration at 1p. Walk at 2p. For more information, please visit www.thbdf.org or contact 615-900-1486 or Janet@thbdf.org
