Telling police that you are the biggest seller of methadone is not a good idea, even if it happens to be true. A Murfreesboro woman by the name of Elaine Jean Morain was pulled over on South Church Street for suspension of drunk driving. After she allegedly failed a field sobriety test, she reportedly asked the police officer who pulled her over to get methadone out of her trunk. After Officer Bradley opened the trunk, the officer came to the conclusion that Morain sold methadone due to the quantity of the drugs found. According to the police report that was filed on Halloween night, Morain told the officer she was the biggest seller around and sold methadone tablets for $40 each. Needless to say, the woman was charged with illegal drug possession, her second DUI and violation of the implied consent law.  The 50-year old woman was placed under a $7,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on February 7th. Arrested with her was Leroy Carter Stingley, Jr. He too was charged with possession.
