Project Linus in Murfreesboro is celebrating their 10th year of making blankets for children who have been traumatized by natural or manmade disasters. On November the 12th, Project Linus volunteers will meet at the Agriculture Extension Office on John Rice Boulevard. We are told that lunch will be served at the event that will take place between 10 in the morning and 3 that afternoon. Volunteer blanket makers are asked to bring with them thread and fabric.

Since Project Linus first started, they have given over 16,000 blankets out to children in need.
