The practice of bullying is growing at all age levels and in family, schools, work, and society as a whole. Middle Tennessee State University is partnering with Rutherford County Schools and offering a series of programs on bullying. They are open to the public from 10:47 to 11:25 on certain mornings starting November 15th and continuing through December 2nd in the science lecture room of Oakland High School at 2225 Patriot Drive.

Bullying within schools, organizations and companies has received increased scrutiny. It is a drain on self-esteem, health and workplace productivity. There is a need for greater education on the subject in our schools and communities. It is important to educate the next generation of policymakers on the issue—and how a culture of fear in any organization can result in unethical practice and potentially white-collar crime.
