A new psychiatric and rehabilitation hospital is in the works for Murfreesboro. The new hospital will be on Thompson Lane near Wilkinson Pike. The Murfreesboro Planning Commission will look over site plans for the hospital on Wednesday. The company building the hospital is Polaris. They aim to build a 70,000 square foot structure that will house 60-beds. Polaris plans to hire as many as 150-persons to work at their facility once construction is complete. The project will cost approximately $27.1-million dollars.
