Christmas musical December 2-18 at Center for the Arts

The Murfreesboro Center for the Arts at 110 West College Street presents the Christmas musical Nuncrackers. It is directed by Jeff Stateler and Tim Smith and runs December 2nd through the 18th on Friday and Saturday nights at 7:30pm, Sunday afternoons at 2:00pm. In addtion, there will be a Thursday performance on December 8th.  

The nuns from Mount Saint Helen’s will be singing, dancing, and celebrating this Christmas season at The Center for the Arts. Nuncrackers, a warm and humorous comedy, is sure to make your holiday merry and bright! 

It’s not nonsense! It’s Nunsense! The Nunsense Christmas Musical is the first television special taped in the Cable Access Studio built by Reverend Mother in the convent basement. Complete with a fabulous cast of singing and dancing nuns, plus Father Virgil, and six of Mount Saint Helen’s most talented students, this show is sure to make audiences feel the heartfelt joy of the holiday season. Nuncrackers features all new carols including Twelve Days Prior to Christmas, Santa Ain’t Comin’ to Our House, and We Three Kings of Orient Are Us. Nuncrackers is filled with a bunch of nunsense humor, including a hilarious rendition of Tchaikovsky’s The Nutcracker. You won’t want to miss this unique and uproarious Christmas musical.
